How to strengthen the heart in naturopathy?

Summer is the time of the heart according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, so it makes sense to strengthen it.

Signs of a weak heart are manifested by difficulty tolerating fever, rapid shortness of breath, legs are heavy and swollen, red face, constipation can (but not necessarily) also be constipation, increased blood pressure (along with liver and kidney deficit), early standing up (at 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning and inability to fall asleep further), and from an emotional point of view restlessness, anxiety…

How do we strengthen the heart?

– with food:

  • we do not consume bread and flour products (gnocchi, tortellini …);
    Replace ordinary potatoes with sweet ones and this for lunch, with as little fat as possible;
    those who are meat should only consume white meat (not red and pork) and chicken broth, and only for lunch, along with plenty of green vegetables, without cereals with cereals;
  • anyone who is fish should consume more fish caught (not farmed);
  • eat as many fruits as possible (until 15h), red fruits and forest fruits and as many green vegetables as possible (throughout the day) and fresh tomatoes up to and including lunch are especially suitable, the same applies to beetroot (freshly squeezed beetroot juice in the morning) and garlic (if you have high blood pressure) is especially suitable.
  • instead of meat, prefer to consume legumes; Legumes strengthen the kidneys and consequently this strengthens the heart, as the kidneys and heart are strongly connected, because the kidneys cool the fluid around the heart.

– of the supplements can help:

  • coenzyme Q10 (essential for everyone who has pills to lower blood pressure and cholesterol);
  • omega 3 (should contain EPA and DHA and should preferably be of plant origin):
  • magnesium (buy one that contains several types of magnesium),
  • oligoelement manganese – cobalt (soothes, acts against anxiety in heavy legs, but is not suitable if you have high blood pressure and it is not for children),
  • cell salts that can help the heart (Calcium Phosphoricum, Ferrum Phosphoricum, Kalium Phosphoricum, Natrium Chloratum, Natrium Sulfuricum)

Exercise that strengthens the heart is to tap-beat lightly with your palm on the inside of the opposite hand, 5x up and down the left, and then another 5x up and down the right hand.

Auriculotherapy; is also a “diagnostic” technique, since a heart deficit can be deduced from the ear, and it is also a “therapeutic” method, so it can also strengthen the body, in this case the heart.
