Insomnia and naturopathic/auriculotherapy help

A lot of people are dealing with insomnia these days. It’s largely because of stress. Stress is positive to a certain extent, but when it repeats itself, it intensifies and becomes chronic, each individual “attacks” where they are most vulnerable. Learn more about stress in one of the following posts.

In naturopathy we talk about various organ deficits associated with insomnia. We ask the person if they can’t sleep or wake up at night or wake up very early in the morning and can’t sleep anymore.

If someone can’t sleep and thinks a lot, we’re thinking about it, it’s the weakness of the spleen. If it wakes up at night (usually between 1 and 3), it is a liver deficit. But if he wakes up at 4:00 in the morning and can’t sleep anymore, it’s very possible it’s a heart deficit.

A lot of people use different sleep allowances like that. Valerian drops, CBD drops, magnesium and also melatonin. I also advise someone who spends a lot of time before falling asleep next to Bach’s White Chestnust drops (i.e. in combination with another) to put sesame oil on it before bed. Sesame oil grounds (helps the spleen) and makes it easier for a person to fall asleep.

Lately, melatonin has become more and more topical as an additive. Melatonin is basically a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the head. Melatonin modulates the sleep cycle and is responsible for being sleepy and relaxed at night. It’s produced by the pineal gland in the head. The well-known philosopher Rene Descartes (known for saying “I mean so I am”) says the pineal gland is the seat of the soul, as the gland is thought to be associated with a mysterious process of unconscious time adjustment. It monitors light and temperature conditions and uses this information to determine when it is time to overwhelm us with melatonin. The point of the pineal gland is also located on the ear and I place it on anyone who has sleep problems, in addition to the two other points that govern the sleep cycle and, of course, most importantly based on the organ deficits I mentioned earlier (spleen, liver, heart…) that depend on each individual. Naturopathy and auriculotherapy work holistically.

We also do a lot by having a good dinner tonight. A lot of people don’t eat breakfast or just drink coffee and cookies, then nothing in the morning when they come home for a little something and then they get filled in the evening. In the morning, we have a lot of digestive power, while towards the evening this power decreases, so we should eat breakfast like kings and dinner as beggars. Someone has a hard time falling asleep because they eat too much in the evening, especially if dinner involves simple carbohydrates. Our brains and intestines are connected. They also have a similar shape. And when food comes from dinner in the middle of the night to a certain point in the gut that is revived and connected to the brain, it can wake us up, so it’s just that dinner is light, easily digestible and necessarily green. In winter vegetable soup (may be dense), in summer you can also have fresh vegetables (not for those with stomach problems).

Another thing that’s very important is that we go to bed early enough, or that we’d be asleep by 11:00. That’s when he starts the detoxification process. If we miss this hour, the process doesn’t work, and then the toxins accumulate in the body. If someone also has weak kidneys (through which we detoxify), does not take faeces every day, or if the woman no longer has her period (menopause or later), then it is even worse as toxins accumulate even more.

What follows is that a man wakes up tired and needs a fasting dose of coffee. Cortisol rises, stress hormone rises and puts the body under even more stress. In addition, he eats a pair of biscuits, where sugar draws minerals and vitamins from the body.

I’m dealing with a 1959 lady who has had trouble sleeping since 2017 (i.e. 6 years old). Earlier than a week after naturopathic counseling, she felt a difference with auriculotherapy, along with other naturopathic instructions. In addition to two important sleeping points on the ear, we also have a point of pineal gland, which releases the hormone melatonin, calming points, as well as other points that are tied to you personally.

The lady says she’s calmer and sleeps better. Not in a week! And the problem has been going on for years. So we see how auriccotherapy is effective. Not of course, all persons work the same, depending on the vital energy, how many toxins are in the body, how long the problem has been going on, etc.
